Research interests

I am a cosmochemist, with my research interests focusing on the formation and evolution of planets in the solar system. I study extraterrestrial materials by measuring isotopic ratios of elements, which reflect the origins of the samples and the processes they have undergone.
My current research projects include aqueous alteration of primitive meteorites (chondrites), refractory inclusions and chondrules in chondrites, lunar and asteroidal soil brought back to Earth by spacecrafts, and presolar grains (which formed before the birth of the solar system).
